To Fight or Not? (7)

What should the yielded believers do?

The answer is simple, do not fight Satan. Stand still, watch, and consider. “Moses said to the people, ‘Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today; you will never, ever see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you can be still.” Exodus 14:13, 14, NET. The phrase “you can be still” means, literally, “you must be still.” This is a direct command; do nothing but be still and see what God will do for you.

“You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the Lord deliver you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid and panic!” 2Chronicles 20:17, NET. God, in the body of Jesus Christ on the cross at Golgotha, has defeated the enemy forever. There is no need to worry about how could we overcome Satan. Jesus defeated him on the cross at Golgotha. All should rejoice.

All “believers” should become truly “yielded believers” who could confidently join the Apostle Paul in saying, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” The “yielded believers” obey the commands of Jesus, that is: “love one another,” and “remain in me.” God has put us into Christ. Therefore, we must remain in Him because Satan has no power over those who are in Jesus Christ. However, one thing we must do, mainly, through faith in Jesus Christ die to our own self so that the perfect life of Jesus Christ and His victory could be ours forever. The yielded believers, in all circumstance, should let go and let God. To repeat, do not fight! Run and hide! Hide in Jesus and rejoice in Gods loving care.
